剧情：
凯特（艾米莉亚克拉克 Emilia Clarke 饰）是一个非常平凡的女人，每天都过着浑浑噩噩的日子，她的个性和一连串错误的选择导致她如今只能在一家全年无休的商店里当店员。无家可归的凯特借住在朋友家里的沙发上，虽然凯特有一位很爱她的母亲阿黛拉（艾玛汤普森 Emma Thompson 饰），但凯特却因为某些心结而拒绝回家和母亲同住。
某日，一位名叫汤姆（亨利戈尔丁 Henry Golding 饰）的男子出现在了凯特的面前，成为了照亮她前路的明灯，汤姆的出现让凯特开始意识到自己的人生或多或少出现了问题，在汤姆的帮助之下，她开始正视自己和母亲之间的矛盾，并且开始一步一步的纠正自己错位的人生。
